Painting a winter scene was on my mind and in the last two weeks I completed this 36"x48" oil on Diabond.
"Headlights"
Unfortunately photographing this painting has been difficult because of its dark subject matter but the original looks pretty good.
i was driving home on a back road when this cool lightening storm was stirring up!

In the Fall I had to deliver a painting to southern Ohio and we stayed in a cabin in the area.
In the morning I took a trail called Cave Trail and was awed by the way the light filtered through the trees in the forest. This painting won Best of Show over many entries at the Cultural Arts Center in Delaware.
